Update: ADOPTED!!!

I took these photos of Mozz, we shared them on Friends of TAS and he’s still barely getting any interest. And I genuinely don’t understand it. He is SO much fun. Like full-on zoomies, happy, wiggly, wants to engage with you the entire time. The kind of dog that would thrive the second he’s out of the shelter and actually gets an outlet.

unfortunately… today is his deadline at 6PM.

So I’m sharing him here too because I’m hoping maybe this is the post that reaches the right person. Because that’s really what this comes down to most of the time… who sees them.

If you’ve been thinking about fostering or adopting, this is exactly the kind of dog that just needs a chance and a little direction.

I meet a lot of beautiful dogs…. Every now and then though… one really stops you. Yujiro was that dog for me today! Some dogs take time to warm up during a session. Yujiro leaned right in. He was engaged, smart, playful, and clearly loved having a job to do.

The best part about photographing shelter dogs is getting to see little glimpses of who they truly are outside of the kennel. With Yujiro, you can see the fun, the curiosity, and the big personality just waiting for the right person to bring it out even more.

Spent some time with the cutest birthday boys 🥹🐾

Okie and Beckett just turned ONE and I had the honor of taking their birthday photos. These adorable little schnauzers were full of curiosity, personality, and nonstop sweet moments.

I feel so grateful to be trusted with capturing milestones like this. First birthdays are such a big deal and these boys are clearly so loved.

Happy first birthday, Okie and Beckett. You are both ridiculously cute and I’m so glad I got to document this special moment. 🖤

📸 From behind the camera, Lucy was an absolute little character. She had the most laid back energy , the most adorable head tilts, and that curious “what are you doing?” look the whole time I was taking photos. Dogs like her make photographing shelter pups so fun. 🤍

Gary has been at Tulsa Animal Services since January 10th, and that’s just too long for a dog like him. He’s sweet, friendly, silly in the best way, and easy to love. I photograph a lot of dogs, and Gary has stayed with me....

He deserves a home :( Adoption fees are waived! The shelter is open 7 days a week 2pm-6pm. Please consider a shelter dog!
