Kersee update! Here is a little photo on her recent trip to Bass Pro. She really enjoyed watching the fish in the aquarium and (surprisingly) didn't notice all the stuffed animals throughout the the building.
She had a little difficulty adjusting to her medications and wound up back at the vet with gastrointestinal issues, but those have been resolved. She is drinking a lot (to be expected) and initially had to get up several times in the night to potty. She is now able to sleep for 8 hours- yeah for her and me!
I got several messages for folks indicating- "what's the big deal? You just have to give her some meds and measure resting respiration." I am not a wait and see kind of girl, so we are doing everything we can to give her the longest, happiest and healthiest life possible!
We are continuing to give Kersee all the supportive treatments available including dietary changes, supplements to support her kidneys and heart. These supplements, in addition to allergy treatments mean her meals look like pharmaceutical tray! She continues to do a great job eating them all up without a fuss!

I so appreciate everyone's well wishes and good vibes. I know everyone's heart is in the right place, but there is no need for a Go Fund Me. Kersee will get everything she needs.
