I would say this is one of my favorite spots, and it is when I really think about it. I have some many memories of Dad taking me fishing there so long ago and new ones now that I am an adult. But then again if you were to ask where my favorite spot is, off the cuff I would say where I find my next big shot. This day was very cool indeed. Parker River for me has been one of the prime spots for me to capture a lot of photos and memories. I hope you all enjoy as I take you on a journey with me and seeing all the beautiful things. Enjoy!!!! I sure do when I can. Taken August 29th of 2026. If you look hard, you can see people off walking the path and an egret in the water and those little black dots are all the tree swallows that have been so many lately.

Somedays just don't work out like you want them too. I was hoping to be somewhere today, but I just need the day to just chill... This was taken in July at West Meadow Townsend wildlife management. This was a good look for a bird I don't see often. Enjoy this Great Crested Flycatcher.

I go to several Townsend wildlife management areas. I saw this doe several times in two days. I was walking down the path and felt like someone was staring at me. I turn to see it just standing there sizing me up. 😆🥴She let me take a few good photos of her and then took off huffing and puffing. Poor thing had some many mosquitos all over her head.
