I am a woman with a long history of body image struggles, yo-yo dieting, eating disorders, and unhealthy exercise extremes. I've heard this saying a lot in my life, "You're average." It makes me think how many other "average" people out there have been struggling with their bodies their whole lives. Never thinking we are good enough, thin enough, fit enough, pretty enough. It's a constant battle with ones self. Don't we have enough to battle in our lives? How can we let go, be grateful, and enjoy life without constant negativity and judgement? Learn to love our bodies and care for it in a healthy way.
I had the pleasure of photographing entrepreneur and dietitian Susie Iovanni, of Building Better Nutrition. She has gathered a team of dietitians that support people struggling with body image and dieting. They help you spend less time and energy worrying about food while gaining a respect for your body and a peaceful, healthy relationship with food. Check out her new intuitive eating online course that allows you to learn healthier habits from the comfort of your home. https://www.buildingbetternutrition.com/shop/
