We're here for the imperfect, goofy & self-proclaimed awkward. Our passion is in capturing who you are and what is important to you right now.

We like to laugh and explore. We love music and friends. We love all things unique and, most of all, we love each other. We are currently listening to Alabama Shakes, Twenty One Pilots, Hozier & Phox on vinyl and love a good live band. We are Netflix bingers. We watch Parks & Rec, Scandal, New Girl, Broad City, Always Sunny and most recently, Aziz Ansari’s Netflix series ‘Master of None’. Weather

permitting, we are always walking around the block with Winston or heading out Oak Openings for a little adventure. We cherish time with our friends watching movies or playing board games while eating tacos. We are proud Toledoans, heading downtown and hitting up local events as often as we can. We have been shooting together for four years now and in that time, we’ve done a lot of growing, learning and discovering. We’ve found our passion and we have molded our unique styles. It doesn’t get any better than elegant and timeless like an old black and white photo. 🤍🖤 Brooks spent the day with Natalie & Nick in Downtown Toledo 🌆 A sort of ‘ode to our wonderful city’ and a little taste of exactly what we have to offer. (Not only the gorgeous backdrops for photos, but the absolute perfect wedding vendors too!)

From a first look on the rooftop to the stunning photos at the museum and Middlegrounds MetroPark 🤩 Down to the epic ch*****ne tower at The Mez 🍾 Every moment was perfectly curated and unforgettable.

🚨 Here’s another one for your Saved folder!! A real wedding timeline WITH a first look through the eyes of a wedding photographer.

💍 That first hour is still going to be time for us to focus on details, decor and candid getting ready photos. (Hint: make sure you and your wedding party keep the clutter to a minimum!).
👰‍♀️ Give yourself at least 30-45 minutes. Undergarments, shoes, jewelry and veils take longer than you might think.
💗 This is for a couple who chose to do a first look! We like to set aside more than enough time before the ceremony so you and your wedding party can just relax and enjoy the process rather than rushing through photos. (If you want to keep things traditional and wait till the ceremony to see each other, go check out our Reel from last week!).
🙈 Guests WILL start arriving 45 minutes before the ceremony (at least), so we’ll wrap up with photos and let you chill out, relax and do any touch-ups.
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Some people like to get family formals done before the ceremony, but some will just wait to do them right after the ceremony. It depends on how many people you have in your immediate family and if everyone will be able to get there early.
🍾 Since we did most, if not all, of the photos before the ceremony, you get to go right into the celebration with your wedding guests and actually enjoy the cocktail hour!
🌅 We might still sneak you away right before sunset for some gorgeous golden hour portraits. You might already have all the amazing photos you need, but sneaking away for a minute together to just breathe and take it all in is always a bonus.

There are a lot of different factors that will affect how this works (traveling between different venues, number of people in the wedding party, weather, etc). Plus, this does not include the time for your hair and makeup artists to do their thing or the DJ to coordinate speeches, cake cutting, etc. That’s where a wedding planner comes in handy: to bring all the different aspects of the day together. 👍

The teasiest of all teases. 👀 This weekend was unforgettable! Nazareth Hall went above and beyond, pulling out all the stops for Alex & Robbie. 🤍 We feel so honored to have been a part of it and witness all the amazing-ness that happens when you have the best people working on your wedding day.

‼️ Save this one for later, friends! A real life wedding timeline through the eyes of a wedding photographer.

💍 We’ll take the first hour to get details, decor and candid getting ready photos. (Hint: you don’t want a bunch of photos before you have your hair & makeup are mostly done anyway!).
👰‍♀️ Getting dressed takes more than 5 minutes (especially for the guys in their rented suits!).
💗 This couple chose not to do a first look, so we are going to do separate bridal party stuff before the ceremony. (Come back next week for a timeline example WITH a first look!).
🙈 Guests WILL start arriving 45 minutes before the ceremony (at least), so we’ll wrap up with photos and let you chill out, relax and do any touch-ups.
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Family formals will be immediately after the ceremony (parents, siblings, grandparents, etc.)
👯 Then we’ll get a few quick photos of the whole wedding party all together (if everyone is cooperating, this could be a quick 10 minute session).
❤️ Then we’ll squeeze in a few portraits of just you two before getting ready for the reception!
🌅 But don’t worry, we’ll sneak you away right before sunset for some gorgeous gold hour portraits (and to give yourself a chance to breathe and take it all in mid-reception!).
