Nina Bashaw Photography Nina Bashaw Photography Who is Nina Bashaw? My other passion is people! I have spent years developing my skills as a portrait and wedding photographer.

Hi I'm Nina the owner of Nina Bashaw Photography, wife of 17 years to an amazing man and mom to two spoiled fur babies. Although I have been professionally shooting weddings and portraits for eight years, my passion for photography started when I was a young child with a film camera. Even though I shoot digital now, film is what made me fall in love with photography and it created my love and appr

eciation for prints. Although I was born and raised a southern girl, my husband and I have lived in various cities around the country and I've learned that the most fascinating part is always the people. I love capturing the special moments of families with children, teens preparing for graduating or couples getting married. Through whatever special moment in life you want to capture, my goal is to capture your best angles and most genuine smiles. One thing I spent a great deal of time on is studying and perfecting the art of posing, it is what I am best at. I pride myself on being able to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera while I guide you through the posing process. I would consider my shooting and editing style as classic and timeless. I spend a great deal of time during the culling and editing process so that you can see the best version of yourself through my lens. I want you to love your images for a lifetime and tell your story though photos. You tell me your vision and I will work hard to bring it to life! I accept a limited amount of weddings per year so I can give each and everyone of my clients an amazing experience. If you're planning a wedding for 2021 or 2022 please contact me about my availability and pricing. Although I am based out of Tampa, Florida I travel worldwide for weddings and events. If you are graduating class of 2021 or 2022 and are looking for a senior portrait photographer, please contact me for complete package pricing, I would love to be your photographer! I am available for the following type photo sessions:

Seniors - Head Shots – Engagements – Weddings

Two questions you really don’t need to ask your wedding photographer

2: “Have you photographed at our venue before?”
It’s a nice bonus, but it really doesn’t matter. Your photographer should be adaptable and understand lighting, posing, angles, timing, and problem solving, not just memorize the same spots at a venue.

There are also so many wedding venues compared to the number of weddings any one photographer can shoot in a year, so it’s completely normal for us to walk into a venue we’ve never photographed before, or to have only photographed there once or twice.

A good photographer can look at a space, read the light, find the best angles, and make it work for your wedding.

2: “Can you work off this Pinterest shot list?”
Not really, and that’s a good thing. Every wedding is different. Every couple is different. Every body moves differently. Every venue, timeline, outfit, light source, and interaction is different. A pose that looks amazing on one couple might feel completely awkward or unnatural for another, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Pinterest can be great for showing the overall feeling, style, or vibe you love, but trying to recreate someone else’s wedding photo for photo takes so much of the creativity and fun out of the day.

You hired your photographer because you love the way they see things. Give them room to create something that actually feels like you instead of recreating somebody else’s wedding.
