A little “get to know your photographer” moment 📸🤎

Hi, I’m Daniela, the girl behind the camera at Daniela Derivet Photography!

Photography is so much more to me than taking pretty pictures. I genuinely love capturing the seasons of life that deserve to be remembered. The tiny newborn details, growing bellies, motherhood, couples in love, families growing together, milestones, celebrations, and all the little moments in between.

But outside of photography, there are so many pieces of me that make me who I am. I’m an author, blogger, grief support group leader, missionary, ministry volunteer, psychology student, and currently studying to become a certified grief coach. My faith is at the center of everything I do, and serving people has become such a huge part of my heart.

I’ve had the privilege of traveling internationally for missions, loving on babies and children, sharing my testimony, and using my photography to capture stories far beyond my own. I think that’s part of why photography means so much to me. People and their stories matter.

When you book with me, I don’t just want to take your photos. I want you to feel comfortable, beautiful, celebrated, and seen. I want to capture something that years from now makes you stop and remember exactly what this season felt like.

And when I’m not behind the camera, you can probably find me writing, serving at church, planning my next mission trip, working on one of my many creative ideas, or loving on somebody’s babies. 😂🤎
