Tem coisas que podem acabar com a sua sessão! E a expectativa que você cria pode ser uma delas!   Eu criei expectativas para a sessão da minha filha! Só que eu esqueci de um detalhe…

Eu resolvi fazer alguns retratos da Juju para registrarmos os 5 aninhos dela. Mas, só a minha cabeça sabia dessa sessão! Eu esqueci de avisar a envolvida sobre o que eu tinha decidido. 😂 pobre mãe!

As crianças, mesmo pequenininhas (2+ anos) entendem perfeitamente os comando que damos. E eu sempre recomendo as minhas clientes para explicarem sobre a sessão de fotos, assim elas chegam e sabem que precisam escutar as instruções da Tia Lilia. E olha, eu sempre sei quem conversa com os seus filhos e quem p**a essa parte, viu?! 😅

Bem, eu não conversei com a minha filha e no quarto clique ela já falou: “mamãe não quero mais”. Foi aí que lembrei que não tinha conversado com ela antes e então tentei consertar… e deu certo. Yessss! Mamãe e fotografa felizes!

Arraste pro lado, a segunda e terceira foto retratam o momento da Juju frustada em estar ali. Respirei fundo e falei que eu ainda não tinha uma foto boa dela e que aquilo era para ela ter de memórias no futuro.

Conclusão?

Ela colaborou, sorriu, dançou e deu tudo certo. 😍

Aqui aprendemos 2 coisas: a primeira é de alinhar as expectativas com as crianças e a segunda é de deixa-las se expressarem “no tempo delas”. Não adianta forçar nada! No final, elas sempre colaboram e a sua galeria terá fotos incríveis, cheia de personalidade!

Confie no processo que o resultado vem lindo! (PS: eu confiei no meu próprio erro e tá aí a prova kkkkkk).

Recently, a group of local women leaders gathered for a morning of real conversations, collaboration, and connection. Women showing up for each other.

It was a powerful reminder that when women support women, everyone rises.

Some families just feel grounded the moment you’re around them 🤍 This February, I had the honor of photographing the Stay family for the magazine cover and spotlight story — and it was such a beautiful experience. 
If you’ve ever visited Le Marché in Palm Harbor, then you already know a little bit about Lindsay’s heart. That warmth you feel when you walk into her store? That’s exactly who she is in real life. Calm. Intentional. Present. 
Tony completely rocked the session (yes, even dad 😉), and their kids were the sweetest — full of personality and happy smiles the entire time. 
I’m so grateful to serve families like this here in our community.

It always starts with a belly… and suddenly there’s a one-year-old in your arms. This season moves faster than our hearts can keep up with. 
The waiting. The first cry. The sleepless nights. 
The smiles that change everything.

We document not because we’ll forget how it felt— but because our minds were never meant to hold it all.

Photos and videos slow time just enough to remember who they were… and who you were while becoming their parent.

This was never just a photoshoot. It was the most important season of your life. 💕

Some clients become so much more than just a session on the calendar. The Russi Family is one of those for me 🤍 I photographed them three years ago, before my move from Arizona to Florida, and getting the chance to photograph them again now felt incredibly special. Watching their family grow and being invited back into their lives is such a true blessing. 
Seeing the kids’ before-and-after photos is always emotional. They grow so fast—sometimes faster than we realize. These moments are such a reminder of how quickly time is moving and how important it is to slow down and take advantage of it, to capture the love, the stages, and the little details before they change again.
