How I Light Outdoor Shoots With 2 Strobes 💡

I Place The Main Light About 45° From My Subject And Angle It Down Like Natural Sunlight. This Gives A Clean Look On The Face

Back Light Goes On The Opposite Side, Aimed At The Back Of The Subject To Create That Glow. That Separation Is What Makes Them Pop Off The Background.

If I Want It More Subtle, I’ll Push It Toward The Far Side Of Their Body So It’s Not Too Harsh.

Before I Even Turn My Lights On, I Expose For The Background. That Way When I Add My Strobes Back In, Everything Stays Balanced And Doesn’t Look Too Dark Or Too Artificial.
