-When I get messages like this from clients after their sessions- it means everything to me. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to describe how much lifting other women up means to me. There’s room enough for all of us to blossom. Somewhere along the line we forgot that empowered women empower women. Somewhere we lost the notion that we are all beautiful and one of a kind. There will never be another you. You will never be the same version of yourself that you are right now. Embrace that. In a world where judging others is far too common be the one that spreads love and encouragement around like confetti. Be proud of every ounce of your being, take up space and stop apologizing for it. 💕

One of my clients reminded me of how good booking a shoot can be for your mental health. I’m not talking about seeing the final result, I’m talking about the process we go through leading up to the shoot. Getting your hair done, getting your nails done, or getting a bikini wax can simply transform your mood and make you feel like a woman again. It’s a simple indulgence in self care that we overlook because most of the time our focus is on the shoot as well. I know that in my every day life I wear a messy bun and gym shorts almost every day. You can’t pour from an empty cup so make sure you’re doing something to refill yours. 💕

I generally disappear from all aspects of life during this time of year. I’d rather be floating in the ocean and spending time with my boys than staring at my screen. But I feel like I still need to say this- ladies- put on your bathing suit and participate in life. Go swim in the ocean, lay out by the pool, take your littles to the splash pad. Stop tugging and hiding because you are worried what people think about you in a bathing suit. In 10 years your people will not remember what your hair was like, what type of bathing suit you had on, or what the number on the scale was. They are going to remember the laughter, the joy, and fun that you had together. You’re going to miss making memories with the people who love you just the way you are because you’re worried about people who you don’t even know. So just stop it. Put on your swimsuit and have fun, go running as fast as you can into those waves. Life is too short to do anything but that. 🫶🏻

Happy Monday you little baddie. If you’re seeing this post it’s for a reason. Maybe you need a little motivation or a pep talk to help finish off your day. Maybe you’ve been thinking about how to refill your cup, to pamper yourself, to cross one item off your bucket list.

Whatever the case may be, you are seeing this for a reason. So today I hope you remember that you are a force, that you are absolutely stunning, and you can handle whatever shenanigans are thrown your way. Because you my spicy little taco, are a total badass. I’m proud of a lot of things that I have accomplished in my life, but one of the things I am most proud of is the space I have created for women to be vulnerable and let their guard down. When a woman comes for her reveal and tells me how empowered, confident, and beautiful she feels after our session my heart just wants to explode with happiness. Empowered women empower women, so let’s spread that mindset like glitter and make it stick to everything.
