Hello everyone - My name is Bill Purdy and I am the founder of Fair Winds Photography LLC. I am a certified member of Nikon Professional Services and fully insured with close to 30 years of experience! I am a published commercial and portrait photographer with a substantial work history. I have literally hundreds upon hundreds of professional portraits in my portfolio as well as a large number of

successful corporate and commercial photography contracts in my history. My goal is to deliver top-of-the-line, stunning images for each and every client. For the past 4-5 years, I have seen this tree out in the marsh and always said, "I'll take the boat over there and get some pics someday". Yet, I never go over there. So, Saturday, just before the blizzard, I sent my trusty flying companion. No mud, no bugs, just sitting at the kitchen table watching it do its thing.........

Remembering a night almost ten years ago. Boredom struck, so I ventured out after midnight to the swamps along Rt. 280 out by the Passaic River flood plains. I ventured out onto the ice in the dark. No flashlight, no idea how thick the ice was, and no idea how deep the water was. Was looking to capture something creepy, spooky, dreamy. Got my pic with light trails from the highway and thankfully the ice held, or else I'd still be there......
