Quick note for anyone trying to reach us:
We do not respond to messages sent through Zola and here’s why ⬇️
Zola charges vendors just to respond to inquiries, and we do not support business practices that put predatory costs on small businesses - especially while actively competing against us for our own name and keywords.
To give you a real example, we recently received an inquiry through Zola from someone who had been referred to us by a venue, was familiar with our work, and simply wanted to know if we were available for their date. It would have cost us up to $30 just to reply and let them know we were already booked. That creates a situation where it may look like we’re not responding, when in reality, we’re choosing not to pay simply to send a quick reply.
We also do not approve or manage profiles on these platforms. Many times, the information listed is outdated or incorrect. The same applies to The Knot - while they do allow responses, we do not actively use or maintain those profiles, and unfortunately, they will not remove our accounts.
