I’ve known Jordan for most of my life, so getting to photograph all these different chapters of her life and watch her family grow has been pretty special. Over the years, I’ve gotten to capture so many moments for this family…but this time there’s a pretty big difference…

THEY’RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY GIRL! 🎀

And I’m not even kidding when I say I was so excited to get these photos done to post them. The golden light, the dress, their little family, that belly… everything just came together SO beautifully.

I love repeat families. I love getting to see the changes, the growing families, the kids getting bigger, and all the little thing in between

And now we add another spunky girlypop to the mix 🎀Congratulations, you guys! I can’t wait to meet your newest little girl! ♥️

mom and dad are getting married 🥹🤍

but HOW are we already here?! i’ve photographed them from the beginning of time (literally when this little miss was still hanging out in mama’s belly)and now i’m photographing them while mom + dad get ready to become husband and wife. 🥲

i feel like i blinked and suddenly this little girl went from being a tiny baby i was photographing to running around and making herself the center of attention lol which, honestly, feels very on brand😂

Photographing people through all of their different seasons of life is top tier. i get to meet them when they’re just starting a family, watch their babies grow, photograph all the little inbetweens, and then i’m standing there taking pictures for some of the BIG ones.

and these two…🥹 they’re so clearly best friends, and i love the way they love each other. you can tell they’ve built a whole life together, and now they get to make it official.

i’m just really freaking happy for you guys and SO excited that i get to be the one behind the camera for this chapter too. from baby bump to baby girl to Addis milestones to mom and dad are getting married… i think we’ve officially come full circle.

now excuse me while i go be emotional about my clients growing up because apparently that’s just part of the job lol. 🥲

We had a whole field, a puddle incident 😂, lots of running around and somehow we still ended up with THIS gallery 🥹

You’d never know what was happening behind the scenes looking at these because they were just so sweet together. The little moments with mom, dad, baby brother and their little guy are just 😍

These are the sessions I love. Just letting kids be kids and catching all the good stuff in between. ♥️♥️♥️

These people 🥹♥️

This family was actually the FIRST family to ever give me a chance when I was just an aspiring photographer with absolutely no clue what I was doing 😂 I barely knew how to use my camera, no clue how to edit properly, and posing people?? LOL. I was just out here winging it & hoping for the best. 😂

And now here we are 🥹 Getting to photograph their family now is seriously so freakin special to me. I’ve gotten to watch my photography grow & now these kids have turned into little adults I swear

So thankful they trusted me back then, and even more thankful they’re still letting me capture these memories now. ♥️

the sweetest little evening with these three 🤍

these three were so sweet. and i swear, there’s something so special about watching a little family grow.

big brother was very much involved in the whole evening 🫶🏻 between loving on mama’s belly, checking out the ultrasound pictures, and just being his silly little self, he made sure we got plenty of personality mixed in with all the pretty pictures.

and getting to document all of those little moments before baby arrives is exactly why i love doing this. the pretty pictures are always fun, but it’s the in-between stuff that gets me every time.

so excited for this family to meet their newest little love. 🤍

Nathan is 1!!!

This is one of the reasons I love photography so much. I don’t just meet a family once and never see them again. I get to watch babies grow up. I get to see nervous first-time parents become total pros. I get to help celebrate birthdays, milestones, and all the little moments in between.

& I have to tattle on this little cutie for a sec 🤣

He made us WORK for these smiles
We tried everything, funny noises, silly faces, singing songs, wrinkling a plastic bag 🤣 ALL the tricks & NOTHING

Then mom started tickling his wittle neck and suddenly those dimples came out 😂🫶🏻

I can’t believe this little guy is already 1 🥹 Happy birthday cutie pie pumpkin!!!! ♥️

i don’t think anyone ever looks back and says, “i wish we hadn’t taken the family pictures.”

they become the photos hanging in hallways, the ones grandparents keep on the fridge, the ones kids stumble across years later and laugh about.

they’re proof that everyone was here. that they loved each other. that this season of life existed.

i loved watching this family laugh, tease each other, pile into human pyramids 😂, and make sure someone who couldn’t be here was still part of the story.

…i left with a full memory card and way too many favorites to narrow down. i’d call that a pretty successful evening. 🫶🏼
