There's a lot of pressure to produce the same quality of photos I give my clients for my OWN Christmas card and lemme tell you, I did not meet my own expectations this year 😂 I'm trying let go of the need for Instagram Perfection and just take the win that I got a photo of my kids (mostly) happy and (mostly) looking at the camera...!
It's been one heck of a year, everyone. So much happened in 2025. I'm grateful to have survived this year, and that my clients stuck with me through all of it. Being a mom and having a career I love can be so challenging at times, but I am so thankful for everyone who understands and supports me in both roles

This session was from over a YEAR ago, in case you wanted to know how backlogged I am on social media 😂

Shooting in a client's home can be challenging because face it- homes are meant to be lived in, rarely meant for photo shoots. Poor lighting, distractions (like cords and clutter), challenging angles - these things can make a shoot in your home difficult! But when I saw Dominique's bedroom and nursery, I was IN LOVE, and this 20 minute session definitely turned into more because I just couldn't stop shooting 😍 I love how thoughtfully she coordinated their wardrobe and any photographer will be thrilled when you show up and see all this beautiful, natural light. I know it took me a year to post them but they are just too beautiful not to share!!

I was absolutely tickled to get to photograph this graduation session for this next generation of Eagles!! While I admit, I'm not winning any awards for school spirit (I absolutely dodge their calls because I know they just want money), there was definitely something so cool about getting to share this experience with these five beautiful seniors. They all met freshman year and have been besties ever since, and I absolutely love that they decided to commemorate their time at AU with photos!!

I could not be more honored to work with to capture their production of The Lightning Thief! What a talented - but more importantly - kind group of teens. I absolutely love shooting details - and it might come as a surprise, but I usually request a solid hour to work on them! I approach photographing the invitation, dress, shoes, rings and all the other special details with a sense of intention and detail - focusing on all those shiny diamonds takes a steady hand and a great macro lens 😂
They always end up being some of my favorites of the day, as I feel like I can really get a sense for the couple's aesthetic and vibe based on their details alone. It also gives me a moment to really focus and get my mind 100% in the game before we start all the big events of the day- because once we're off, it's a mad rush until the reception!
How gorgeous are all these green elements that the bride, Anna, provided me to play with?! 😍 I don't think I needed to break out any of the styling props I bring with me thanks to her thoughtful preparation!

HAPPY WEDDING DAY and - words can't express how honored I am that you wanted me to be a part of your day. It's been so much fun to be a part of these big moments of the Smith family - I genuinely look forward to every time I get to celebrate a milestone with you all, whether it's graduation, a proposal, an engagement or a wedding. I cannot wait to see you guys (all of you, including Amelia 🐶🐾) today - congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.!!!!
