On Aug. 26, 2025, service members from across the National Capital Region participated in an Armed Forces Full Honor Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. The ceremony, hosted by Brig. Gen. Antoinette Gant, commanding general of Joint Task Force–National Capital Region and U.S. Army Military District of Washington, was held during the official visit of Republic of Korea President Lee Jae Myung to the United States. Photos from the commissioning ceremony for The U.S. Army’s Detachment 201: Executive Innovation Corps, a new initiative designed to fuse cutting-edge tech expertise with military innovation.

The four new Army Reserve Lt. Cols. are Shyam Sankar, Chief Technology Officer for Palantir; Andrew Bosworth, Chief Technology Officer of Meta; Kevin Weil, Chief Product Officer of OpenAI; and Bob McGrew, advisor at Thinking Machines Lab and former Chief Research Officer for OpenAI.

Hi friends!

How has your summer been? Besides photography and work (🪖), mine has been filled with gardening, listening to , and trying to survive the heat and humidity here in VA.

Popping into your feed to let you know that I recently updated my website and my prices.

If you like the look of these photos, this is in my office at home, which I can convert into a mini studio! In addition to the props you see, I have a jungle of houseplants that I think would be great for portrait backdrops. 🌿

I have fall availability and am always on board with your creative projects and ideas.

We went to Nathan’s Dairy bar and got chocolate raspberry soft serve with chocolate sprinkles after this shoot, and I dare you to tell me a better way to spend an evening with a Friend. 💜🍦

Thank you, Anne, for driving out to Grace Haven Farm for me! This location is so beautiful and the owner is very sweet. It’s like six locations all in one—sunflowers, hydrangea, flower farm, wildflower fields, grassy fields, and a creek!

Senior photos are so much more than when I graduated high school in 2010. I would have loved to bring my bff to my session. 🥹

Both of these lovely girlies are headed to college together in few months (maybe even weeks now?!). They were so sweet and silly. It was a joy to capture this milestone. 🥰🥰
