I am 24 years old and grew up in Independence, LA. I graduated high school in 2011 from Loranger High and graduated with a degree in Small Business/Entrepreneurship Management from Southeastern Lou

isiana University in December 2015. It has been a life changing couple of years as I got married to my wonderful husband Justin, graduated college, and had a beautiful baby girl named Emileigh Claire! Now I am finally pursuing a passion I have had for a long time and making it into a career! I have struggled in the past to find exactly what it is I want to do with my life. I have found myself taking pictures of things or people and getting lots of excitement from it. From the outcome of the pictures to the editing and creating something unique, I discovered my passion for photography. Can you say bridal suite DREAMS? 😱 I am excited to share more from this gorgeous styled shoot at ! And how lucky were we to have the most gorgeous models and !! There were so many talented vendors that came together to make this shoot happen and I just feel so grateful to have been able to photograph all of their amazing work!

I also especially want to mention how absolutely STUNNING the handmade getting ready outfit was that was crafted from a wedding gown! Such an amazing idea for featuring mom’s wedding gown on her daughter’s wedding day! is amazing!!

If you’re new here, WELCOME to Krystal Troutt Collective! I’m Krystal and photography is my profession but that’s only about 10% of who I am and what I strive to do with my time on earth.

I am just a deeply curious, highly sensitive, slightly chaotic Cajun girl from Louisiana who believes God speaks through art, beauty, people, and intentional front porch conversations.

I bake things from scratch like somebody’s southern grandma, squeal over beautiful lighting, and have been known to be a little over obsessed with cats. I have 5… yes FIVE.

Things I have an admiration for:
• The southern charm of a porch swing
• The smell of fresh flowers
• The beauty of outdoors
• The sound of my piano
• family gatherings full of sarcasm and way too many fart jokes
• spontaneous road trips
• creating spaces that feel like a movie scene
• baking things that turn out “pretty good”
• taking photos and constantly finding new ways to grow

I’m the kind of person that will fully believe in an impossible dream before I create a proper business plan for it.

I’ve spent a lot of my life trying to figure out exactly who I am while navigating seasons of anxiety, depression, and feeling like I needed to have everything figured out before I was allowed to fully live.

But I think I’m finally learning that life was never meant to only be about survival or perfection.

I think life should be fun.

Not just during the big milestone moments like weddings, vacations, or huge accomplishments, but in the ordinary Tuesdays too.

My goal for this page is for it to not only share beautiful photographs:

But to also share inspiring ways to create a beautiful and fulfilling life. One where we stop believing we were only made to survive, perform, consume, and repeat the same routines forever.

I believe people were created with gifts for a reason. And I believe the world changes when ordinary people get brave enough to use them.

I had the pleasure of photographing these two and their family a couple springs ago and I was ecstatic to hear they were finally tying the knot!! My FAVORITE time of year is almost here: SPRING TIME! 🌸🌷☀️ I will be hosting my annual spring minis on Saturday March 14th and Sunday March 15th at Flora Sol in HAMMOND, LA! I only do minis in Louisiana ONCE a year so don't miss your chance to book your session at the most adorable location!

PERFECT for families, couples, maternity sessions, and children's portraits!! I will have VERY LIMITED availability for these. Details listed below:
