Today, I learned something neat about peonies. Some varieties of peonies transition their colors as they bloom. I just happen to have one of those varieties. It will bloom a dark pink and then transition to a cream color as it fully blooms. I thought that was the neatest thing. (Reposting the picture I took the other day as a reference to what it looked like when it bloomed and what it looks like today)
