When it comes to lifestyle newborn sessions, it’s all in the details

the curl of a finger
the weight of them in your hands
milk-drunk breaths, sighs, and wrinkled toes

the way your whole world
suddenly fits inside your arms

Do it. Despite the ache of doubt.

Despite the voices that tell you to be realistic.

Despite the reasons that feel heavy in your chest.

Because either way, you’ll learn.
What sets your soul on fire.
Or what asks you to turn the page.

Five years ago, I chose this dream.

Shaky hands.
Big hope.
A whisper that wouldn’t leave me alone.

Some people thought I was unrealistic.

Some thought I’d grow out of it.

But here I am.

Witnessing the most sacred, intimate, fleeting moments of people’s lives. Holding stories in my hands. Turning love into something tangible.

And I’m grateful, not just for the fully booked seasons,
but for the slow ones too.

The refining.
The studying.
The becoming.

Betting on yourself isn’t loud.
Sometimes it’s quiet and persistent.
Sometimes it’s choosing to keep going when no one is clapping yet.

But it’s worth it.

Always.

where winter ends

the snow kisses the ground outside
streaks of blue creeping in at the edges.

but here,
your hands find me
like they always do

steady as the beating drum,
achingly beautiful,
even dusted with the long day’s work.

just certain enough
to stay.

the air smells like leaves
that refused to die,
like soil holding heat
long after the sun has gone.

you touch my face
as if I am delicate glass,
still warm
from being shaped.

forehead to forehead,
the smallest distance
becomes everything.

your breath moves into mine
and for a moment
I don’t know
where I end
and you begin.

there is an ache in loving like this
not sharp,
not breaking
just the silky, steady knowing
that to choose someone
is to hand them
both your jagged edges
and your softest places.

outside, winter keeps its quiet.

inside,
your warmth begins
at my waist,
travels through my ribs,
and settles
where fear used to live.

and I stay
as if there was ever anywhere else to be.

A forever-summer kind of love, bloomed in a winter greenhouse. 🌿✨

Storybook Model Call — West Paris and S**o

I am looking for a reliable model, couple, or adventurous family to help me test a new storybook-inspired location in West Paris, Maine. The site is a stone castle structure with cinematic, fairytale potential, and I am hoping to photograph it during winter conditions such as light snow, flurries, or overcast skies. Gowns from my client closet will be available for use.

If the winter session flows well, you will also be invited to a second session this spring at a whimsical location in S**o to complete a two-part storytelling series.

I am specifically looking for someone who communicates reliably, is comfortable signing a model release, and is open to working outdoors in cold temperatures, wind, or light snow. We will only reschedule in unsafe conditions such as storms or blizzards.

This model call is open to a single female, a couple, or a family who enjoys creative, whimsical, and editorial-style imagery.
