FIVE. How is our Izzy girl already five?! 🥹🌻💛
Before GVGT Studio, I used to assist my husband with his shoots, and that’s how I met Jasmyn Antanette at her sunflower maternity session. I had no idea then that this session would become the beginning of a friendship that would mean so much to me five years later.
Izzy was one of GVGT Studio’s very first babies, and I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow from a tiny baby in front of my camera into a little girl with a personality all her own. Looking back through these pictures brings back so many memories. Somehow, we went from waiting for her arrival to celebrating her fifth birthday, and I’m still trying to figure out where the time went. 🥹
What started with a maternity session turned into a friendship, shared memories, and becoming family. I’ve gotten to watch Izzy grow beyond the sessions and birthday pictures, and that means more to me than I can explain.
Her mama trusted me while I was growing GVGT and figuring things out along the way. Getting to grow as a photographer while watching Izzy grow up has been such a special part of my story, too. There’s so much love and history behind these pictures.
And the sunflowers 🌻 From her mama’s maternity session to her fifth birthday, they’ve continued to be part of Izzy’s story. I hope one day they can look through these pictures together and talk about all the memories behind them… especially how it took almost three years for Izzy to decide we could get along. She definitely made me work for it!
