Early morning is one of my favorite times to photograph, when the world is slowly waking up but the dew is still settled on the grass. I love the calm, the cool, fresh air, and that's what these black and white photos feel like to me.

While many orb weavers eat their old webs and recycle the silk to help build a new one, I was so happy to catch this one before she packed up her web for the day! I got to watch her wrap up her latest catch and grab some close-up shots of the action. Always love getting to see these little moments in nature!

Ran into these two armadillos at Fellows Lake and they couldn't have cared less that I was there. They just did their thing while I sat nearby taking pictures.

A big misconception about armadillos is that if you come in contact with one, you’ll get leprosy. While some armadillos carry the bacteria that causes leprosy, the chances of encountering one that carries it are very low!

Beyond obsessed with this engagement session! We squeezed in a little greenhouse magic at Schaffitzel's Flowers before they closed, and I couldn't be happier with how these turned out.

For the first time since I started photography, it has officially paid for a gear upgrade!

With the money from the car shoots I’ve been doing, I was able to buy some really nice RGB lights. I tested them out for the first time today, and of course, I had to use the cutest models ever!

I took way too many photos of them, but I thoroughly enjoyed trying out all the different color combinations, and the boys definitely enjoyed getting some extra treats.

I still have a LOT to learn about using these lights, but I’m so happy to have the upgrade and the option to get a little more creative with some of my shoots. It might seem like a small thing, but I’m genuinely so thankful for the opportunities and people that have led me here and for the ability to keep growing my passion for photography. I'm excited to see where this next step takes me and what I can create with them.

A little red looks pretty good surrounded by green.

Had so much fun photographing this beautiful Camaro! The colors, the scenery, and that sunset made for such a fun shoot.

Swipe all the way through to see one of my favorites from the session!

First motorcycle shoot in the books! I had so much fun with this shoot and getting to try something a little different. Definitely hoping this is the first of many!
