A Lake Travis hognose was the last thing I expected to see today while out fishing. This thing was swimming across a massive body of water. Pretty cool!

Got caught in a thunderstorm while photographing birds. Honestly was so sick. It is 100% NOT SAFE at all to stand near bodies of water during thunderstorms. I pushed my luck a lil bit to enjoy the view for a moment. Dipped shortly after. So basically don’t sue me if you get struck by lightning!!

Vicious rattlesnake attack from CA 2022. This snake chased me for 10 miles before I finally escaped. Good thing my friends were there to rescue me from this evil serpent. P.S. I’m being sarcastic if you can’t tell.

Briefly handling a young cottonmouth. Although I certainly bothered this snake… I wouldn’t consider my presence super disruptive. After about 8 photographs, it slithered back into its puddle without ever feeling the need to show me its cotton white mouth.
