Haven’t done much in black & white but love when the tone turns out just right

Some stories unfold quietly — and they deserve to be held with care.

These images span two seasons with the same woman, the same steady presence. First, when Kaitlyn is carrying Braxton — anticipation, tenderness, becoming. Then, one year later, a quieter threshold: weaning, holding close, letting go just a little.

Kaitlynn is also our family sitter — someone my children adore, someone who brings calm simply by being herself. Photographing her through these chapters felt less like a session and more like bearing witness.

Creating images that are intimate and soft — unhurried, grounded, and full of trust is my goal for every session steeped in motherhood.

Another piece of "The Work I didn't post in 2025" — and one I'm"didn't" grateful to finally share.
