It has been a little while since I have shared a proper introduction, and since so much has changed behind the scenes, this feels like the perfect time to reintroduce myself and the heart behind the lens.
If you have been here from the beginning, you knew me as Taylor Lee Photography. I started this journey in 2018 as a fun hobby, and it grew into a part time business in 2022. As I have grown as a woman, a wife, and now a mother, my vision for this work has grown as well.
Kalea is my daughter’s name, and it means full of joy. That is exactly what I want this business to be. Not just a service, but a ministry and a reflection of the joy and provision the Lord has placed in my life. None of this would be possible without God’s provision, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to use my gifts in this way. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly loved, seen, and comfortable in front of the camera.
When you book a session with me, you do not have to perform. You do not have to know how to pose. You do not have to rush. You do not have to be perfect. I will guide you so you never feel uncomfortable, but I am not here to overdo it. My sessions are calm, efficient, and enjoyable. I want it to feel natural, like you are simply being yourselves and I am there to capture it.
When I am not behind the camera, you can usually find me spending time with my husband, our seven month old daughter, and all of our pets. I also help my husband at his business from time to time.
Let’s be honest. There are photographers everywhere these days. I am fully aware of that. But I have never been one to compete, compare, or try to outsell someone by being louder. You will never see me tearing someone else down to earn a dollar. There is room for all of us. I do not try to show off. I do not pretend to be something I am not. I genuinely love what I do. I love documenting connection. I love the in between moments. I love giving families something they will hold onto long after the season has passed.
In a world full of photographers, the fact that so many of you come back year after year, that you trust me, support me, and send your friends and family my way, means more than I can say. Thank you for allowing me to live this dream while still being the mom and wife I want to be. Thank you for choosing me. I am so grateful. Here is to another year of keeping it simple and capturing what truly matters.
