The first rule for my family sessions is simple… just play and have fun. 🌱

It sounds easy, but I know how tempting it is to get caught up in making sure everyone looks “perfect.” (Trust me, I’ve been there too!) Before you know it, you’re so focused on everything being just right that you miss the chance to simply be present with your little ones.

My goal isn’t to capture perfection. It’s to capture your family as authentically as possible. The giggles, the cuddles, the games, the way your little ones reach for your hand, and all of those beautiful in-between moments that happen naturally when you’re enjoying each other.

I’ll guide you with prompts to help create those moments, but the magic always happens in the spaces between them—when you’re laughing together, playing, and soaking in this season of life that I get to encapsulate for you! 🎞️

The big “trend” that people ask for in photography nowadays is candid photos. Which don’t get me wrong, it’s kinda always been our bread and butter. We love catching folks in authentic moments. Yet when people show me the inspo photo… whether it was one we took or another photographers, 7/10 it’s a curated candid moment. Meaning some kind of direction was given to lead up to that photo.
Now. If you want to see real candid moments… just ask me to show you the dance floor photos. 🤘🏻

Oh how I love capturing people and their passions!
Branding shoots don’t have to be boring and lifeless… in fact they shouldn’t be! Most of the time, these are the photos that draw in your preferred clientele… it’s what makes people want to work with you/choose you over someone else! It tells a story about your business and the love you’ve poured into it! Investing in someone to help tell that story is one of the key first steps into growing that passion project into a thriving business!

As Pride Month comes to a close, I keep thinking about how important it is that Pride doesn’t end when June does.

The LGBTQ community deserves to be celebrated, supported, and seen every single day of the year—not just when rainbow logos appear or the calendar says it’s time. Pride is about love, resilience, authenticity, and the freedom to exist as you are. Those things are worth honoring and celebrating year round.

As a photographer, one of the greatest privileges of my work is documenting LGBTQ+ love stories. Every time I get to witness a couple fully themselves—laughing, holding each other, celebrating their love, or simply sharing a quiet moment… I’m reminded why representation matters so much. These aren’t just photos to me. They’re memories, proof that love deserves to be seen and shared.

Creating a space where every couple feels safe, celebrated, and genuinely welcome will always be at the core of what we believe in. Not just in June, but every season, every session, every single year.

Happy Pride, today and always. 🌈🫶🏻✨

A labor of love. 🫶🏻
If you’ve had the chance to eat at JAYD BUN you know that what they do is extraordinary.
It was an honor to be asked to capture the true labor of love that goes into the making of all their staple dishes. I believe my favorite process to document was the creation of their famous buns.

The attention to detail and the meticulous process reminds me much of how we go about editing. Much in the same manner, every step is thoughtful and curated.
A reminder that good things take time and shouldn’t be rushed.
Honestly (not to get too deep with it all) it’s a good reminder for all of us in this fast paced world to take a beat. That the fast culture we live in is not attainable.
It’s what I appreciate the most about Jayd Bun and why we’ve been going to them since the beginning. They care about what they do and take their time to create their magic!
