After 20 years of photographing temple weddings, I’ve found that the most meaningful LDS wedding days feel calm, intentional, and never rushed. Here are a few ways to help your temple sealing day flow smoothly: ✨🤍
* Consider doing bridals or a first look ahead of time so your temple day can stay centered on family and the experience.
* Plan your schedule around the natural light at your temple to create the most flattering portraits.
* Assign a trusted friend or family member to help gather relatives and hold bouquets or personal items.
* Schedule your exit about one hour after your sealing time to allow guests to gather and for you to avoid feeling hurried in the dressing room.
* Set aside at least one hour for portraits after your exit. If you haven’t had a bridal session together, plan for closer to two hours so we can get everything we need. 📸

It was a big night for me at the awards banquet on Saturday night. I got first place in the Master Illustrative division! I also got third place in Master Illustrative and second and third place in the Wedding Day category. I also got a pin for having four or more prints score over 80 (out of 100).

This was my first year as being the print competition chairwoman. This awards banquet was the culmination of so many hours of work. Between planning the logistics of the competition, hiring judges, tabulating scores, ordering awards — it was a big job. I had a great team working with me. They are the best.
