A pretty cool surprise today.
A huge thank you to Alexis Tarrazi and Patch for taking the time to tell a little bit of my story — and, more importantly, why photographing local student-athletes has meant so much to me over the years.
I've had a camera in my hands for more than 45 years, and sports photography is really where it all started. Getting the opportunity today to document these athletes, their teams, their families and some pretty special moments in their lives is something I genuinely love doing.
I'm incredibly fortunate to have been welcomed onto the sidelines and into the programs of so many teams throughout our community.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted Zarcone Photography to help tell those stories — and thank you, Alexis, for telling a little bit of mine.
