Getting closer to “launch”- my word for opening up my calendar for bookings each year. Some days I feel like I have so many things to do- I get a little analysis paralysis… does that ever happen to you? 👋 It’s when you spend more time thinking about what you have to do than actually doing it… guilty!! My goals this week are updating my website, my waitlist, and finalizing my calendar (the dates that I am available). This is year 8 (the heck!) for me as a Senior Portrait photographer and the excitement of launch never gets old for me☺️🥳 I’ll continue to share tips all week for things to consider when choosing and booking a Senior Portrait photographer. After I’ve posted at least one image of all my Seniors, then I start posting images that I love for different reasons. I love these shots of Annabelle for a lot of reasons, but especially because of the hydrangeas behind her. I’ve photographed Seniors in this exact spot since 2018- and I love how they change color through the summer. When they first blossom, they are the palest creamy vanilla color with soft pink on the ends. They gradually get darker and always stay beautiful. When the sun is just right, it’s a perfect spot for photos🩷

I can’t believe I haven’t posted in 12 days🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ In my defense… I’ve been glued to my computer editing like crazyyy- and proud to say only FIVE more senior sessions to be delivered!

I’m holding on to every last drop of pretty fall weather… if you’ve seen me lately you’ve heard me whining about the weather- it’s tough for us natural light photogs, and I want it this perfect every time… anywaysss the sun came out for Hanna- and she drove soooo far to have her sesh with me, I was glad💛 Don’t get me wrong, we can still make gorgeous images on a cloudy day, I just 💛 it when it’s like this!
