I am trying to rebuild my business! In order to do that I am offering discounted sessions until January 30th. Your session MUST be scheduled by January 30th, but the session date can be after.

How to Secure it? Send me a message or comment on the original post. I also offer gift certificates if you’re looking for a last minute gift.

$50 non-refundable deposit is due to secure your session. Location can be decided later.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m officially saying goodbye to my wonderful clients of Virginia.

It has been such an honor to serve you over the last few years and to have built connections with you. I have taken such joy in capturing your families and life milestones.

But, my family and I are moving onto greener pastures. This weekend we officially make our move to Louisiana. I’m excited for the new adventures we will have there. It’s a hard choice but it’s the right one for my family.

This sweet family holds such a special place in my heart. 🥹

I first met Emily and Zach when I photographed their wedding just over a year ago, and since then, I’ve had the honor of documenting their growing family a few more times.

Watching their little ones grow between sessions has been the most beautiful gift — seeing their daughter find her voice, full of sass and independence, and watching her big brother love her with the gentlest, most playful heart. He’ll do anything to make her smile. 💛

Emily and Zach have such a quiet calm about them — a steady kind of love that shines through in their parenting and the way they show up for each other. Getting to witness and capture that through my lens is something I’ll never take for granted. ✨

✨ Nothing quite as bittersweet as those final sessions with long-time clients.

I’ve had the joy of photographing this sweet mother-son duo for the past year and a half, and watching them grow together has been such a gift. 💛

During our previous session, he ran up and gave me the biggest hug — one of those moments that reminds me how special the connections we build through this work truly are.

It’s been incredible watching this wild, goofy, tender-hearted boy grow up — and seeing Tascha chase her dreams, graduating with her associate’s in Culinary Arts (and trust me, she can cook 👩‍🍳🔥).

So much love for this little family and all the memories we’ve created together. 🥹📸

In just one week my family and I will making our big move to Louisiana. For me, that means rebuilding my clientele. It essentially means starting my business over again.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is capturing couples and families across many years..

When I captured Mackenzie and Nick for the first time- she was pregnant with their oldest (they have two kids now). That was around 5 years ago now and it’s crazy how time flies!

My OTHER favorite part is seeing my own growth as a photographer and how my style has drastically changed over the years. I’ve leaned heavy into more natural colors, lighter, but vibrant and warm. My ability to pose has evolved and knowing how to capture the BEST moments with kiddos.

✨ Maternity Session Magic at The Chrysler Museum ✨

Sometimes, the best moments come from unexpected changes! When we had a last-minute location switch because of the incoming forecast, The Chrysler Museum ended up being the perfect backdrop. The soft light, stunning architecture, and quiet elegance matched their energy so beautifully.

These two are expecting their very first baby, and capturing this milestone was such a joy. The love, the excitement, the anticipation — it was all there in every frame. I’m so honored to be part of documenting this next chapter in their story. 💛
