Things change so much over the years… swipe to see a little of our story!
This year we did this photo with an incoming senior, a strong 11 year old still battling CIDP and a sweet spicy almost 9 year old. We see God’s blessings and sovereignty since we did this photo the first two times.
This was the last time we did this picture and I wish I would have known then what was to come. A month later Owen was diagnosed with CIDP and our world changed. It became years of battles with his medical issues, death after death in Jeff and my families and Emma’s own health issues. I battled depression and finally last year came out on the other side of it. Life is nothing if not a journey. (Kids were 11, 5, and 3)
This picture was the first time we did this photo. Our sweet preemie baby Addie was turning two, Emma and Owen were heathy and thriving (10 and 4). One year difference and so much changed. Each year in San Diego on the beach but each time life was full of changes. Nothing is certain in life, God gives and takes away but we don’t live for this life. God is faithful!
