🥲🥲Walter didnt have a Meet and Greet today🥲🥲

Walter Update!
Walter's been back with us for a little over a month now and his week long "sleep over" last month revealed some things we need to be mindful of in a new home. Walter does well here with us because we have 30yrs experience with this breed. Not just personal dogs but fosters too. So when we say Walter will need a breed savvy owner we are serious. We suspect that he's a ranch bred Cattledog which means his DNA hasn't been "dumbed down". He's everything you know about Cattledogs and more, he's not a dog for the faint of heart. However in the right home he's everything we love about the breed. He's smart, funny, adventurous and loyal. He likes to snuggle with his people and play rough n tumble with his friends. He's also protective and weary of strangers, people and dogs alike. This is where he will need the most continued education and management. However he's gotten so much better since being here!
We also believe that he needs another dog in the home. One that is established, confident and playful. He takes a lot of his social cues from his foster friends young and old alike. If you think you're up for the best boy ever, challenges and all we'd love to meet you!
