Back to work after my much-needed Labor Day break and ready to fill up that calendar. 🫡📸

These two are your reminder that your photoshoot can double as a date night!

I have TONS of date night session ideas up my sleeve. Some cute, some romantic, some completely ridiculous 😂 and I’m always open to YOUR ideas, too. If there’s something you two love doing together, let’s turn it into a photoshoot.

I’m booking winter, spring AND summer sessions now, so you definitely don’t have to wait until next year to start planning!

Happy Labor Day from a photographer who will be doing absolutely NO labor today. 😂✌️

After a busy weekend of shooting, walking approximately 47 million miles around the fairgrounds & Solu for a wedding, carrying way too much camera gear and staying up entirely too late… your girl is taking a VERY well-deserved day off. 😂

I’m also taking some inspiration from these girls today. Chilling out, having fun, and actually enjoying a day for MYSELF. Maybe minus the human pyramid and chugging drinks at the fair. 😂🍻🎡

Today is the LAST DAY of the Sheboygan County Fair! 🎡🎠🍎

I got to spend some time there this year doing what I love... photoshoots! 📸

And obviously I had to enjoy the fair a little while I was there too! I caught a little bit of the drone show, listened to a few bands, pet a few animals, and had the BEST caramel apple cow pie 🤤

Did you make it to the fair this year?! What did you do? More importantly, what did you eat?! 👀😂

P.S. My personal pack mule (aka my husband) REALLY had his hands full during that 3-BFF photoshoot. 🤣 Bags, jackets, drinks… that man was WORKING. 😂

What am I carrying as your wedding photographer? 👀

📷 My main camera — with dual card slots, so your images are being backed up while I shoot.

📷 A backup camera — because if something happens to camera #1, we keep right on moving.

📸 Polaroid camera — if your package includes them!

⚡️ Flash — because sometimes we need a little extra light.

📝 Your timeline ON my camera — so I can keep an eye on where we need to be and when without constantly digging for my phone.

📱 My phone mounted right on top — your inspiration photos, the time AND behind-the-scenes videos all in one place.

👓 Meta glasses — for an even quicker way to grab BTS throughout your day.

And then…

My personal pack mule.

My husband. 🤣

His backpack is basically the wedding-day emergency department:

Extra batteries. Extra SD cards. Point-and-shoot cameras for the reception. Camera cleaning supplies. Medication for me because carrying all this s**t around for 8+ hours HURTS lmfao. Water because apparently I forget humans need that to survive.

And, most importantly, clear instructions on exactly what I need him to do. 😂

Basically… I’m ready for anything.

Equipment fails? I have backups.
Battery dies? Got more.
Card fills up? Covered.
Timeline? Right in front of me.
Need more light? Got it.
Want some fun reception photos? Hand out the point-and-shoots.
Need BTS? Already recording.

There are a million things for you to think about on your wedding day.

Your photographer doesn’t need to be one of them. She’s GOT THIS. 😌📸

The Sheboygan County Fair is THIS WEEKEND.

I would LOVE to book one family AND one couple at a mini session rate with full session details👀 so $275 instead of $550!!!

Savannah + Jake already did the whole tying the knot thing… so today? We skip straight to the FUN STUFF. 😂🥂

No ceremony. No waiting to say “I do.” Just celebrating the fact that THEY DID, surrounded by all of their favorite people. 🤍

If their engagement session was any indication of what today is going to look like, I already know there will be a whole lot of laughing, kissing, dancing, and SO many good photos.
