Happy Camera Day - Instant Film Edition!
While I also use 35mm, medium and large format film cameras, I use instant film more frequently!
FUJIFILM instax cameras include:
instax EVO Mini and Wide
These are great for a hybrid experience with instant film. I can capture a portrait or landdscape, and make multiple prints to share, as well I can connect my phone to these and print images that are on my phone!
instax mini 90s
This is so fun as it provides the opportunity to create multiple exposures and have some creative control, on the mini film.
instax SQ6
Light the mini, I can do mulitple exposures, lighten or darken the exposure, and even use a timer for self portraits. The film is a slightly smaller square version of that classic instant film look we all know and love.
POLAROID Instant Cameras include:
SX-70’s. I am up to 3 of these in various versions, the sonar is the one I use the most. The focus on this camera is fabulous.
Newer from Polaroid, the i2 and the Flip.
Why do I have both? Well that’s a good question. The i2 came out before the Flip and offers a variety of modes, like Aperture and Shutter priority, as well as full manual, AND, I can sync this camera with my studio flash gear.
The Flip has an udpated version of the focusing mechanism like the old Sonar cameras, there are also some manual controls with this camera, which are easier managed via bluetooth and the Polaroid App.
Do you have a fave instant film camera?
