These gorgeous cypress trees were at Highland Hammock State Park in Florida. One of my favorite places to visit. The boardwalk through the trees takes you on a magical journey in a cypress mangrove. Alligators, birds, and all kinds of other wildlife abound. The quiet when there's a predator around is total. Not a peep can be heard. But, you don't usually see the predator, either.
