How many versions of yourself do you carry around? For Katia, we created three very different portraits for three very different parts of her work — but they’re all her.

Katia wears a lot of hats — psychologist, creative, business owner, woman, human. And somehow, they all belong to the same person.

This session reminded me that sometimes the shift is so small: a change of clothes, a different pose, a little more softness… and suddenly you see someone from an entirely different angle.

Because most of us aren’t just one thing. ✨

FALL MINIS! 🍂 I’m so excited to bring my camera back to Kennedy’s!

I’ll be capturing a little bit of fall magic with short + sweet family portraits, tucked away in a dedicated area of the garden during Kennedy’s Fall Festival & Maker’s Market on September 26.

Pumpkin patches, marsh views, fall color, a coffee truck, local makers, kids running around… basically all the good stuff. 🍂

And yes — this is an actual photo of the setting and bench! The pillows, flowers, pumpkins, etc. are my Photoshop vision for the set. 😂 I’m still working on the styling, but I’m having way too much fun with it.

Creative Portraits! 👑✨If Enchanted and Pitch Perfect had a baby, it would be this senior… I’ve watched Michaela for years in chorus and band, so I knew she was talented, but I honestly wasn’t expecting THIS.

Five minutes into our session, I knew she was completely on board with embracing my weird and slightly ridiculous ideas. So we sent her lovely mom home to collect tiaras, a prom dress, a box of sheet music and a parasol (among other things!).

The first image here is actually the last shot of the night — aka the Senior Tantrum. 😂 I told her to sit on the sidewalk like a toddler who absolutely did NOT want to grow up, and she gave me the most gloriously stroppy pout.

Unforgettable. 💜

I’m a massive fan of Easkey Right’s neon bag straps, so bringing this concept to life was pretty much a playground moment for me. And for those of you who’ve asked – this is the yellow strap I’ve worn every day (on every bag) for months!! 💛

This is Millie, straight out of camera. 🌻 Maybe it was the dust on the lens, the light catching her hair, or the rows of endless flowers… but this session felt like shooting film. I don’t think I turned on the LCD once.

So, in the spirit of film, I thought I’d share some shots before I get all digital and start retouching everything.

Because images don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. Removing dust and flyaway hairs, smoothing skin, lifting shadows — none of that really matters. And for young women, I think it’s pretty important to see that they are freaking gorgeous exactly as they are.

Because seriously… Look at her. ❤️

If you know Colleen Marie, then you know she’s pure magic—inside and out. ✨

When she came to me needing branding photography for her website revamp, I was ALL IN. Because here’s the thing: Colleen is gorgeous, but her brand isn’t what she looks like. It’s what it FEELS like to work with her.

She’s an energy practitioner, tarot reader, intuition coach, and self-proclaimed Scituate Witch (🙌🏼). Her work is rooted in connection, and her sessions can be deeply personal. My goal was to create images that captured her awesome energy, while giving her audience visual space to imagine what it might feel like to be in the room with her.

We created studio portraits that reflected her personality and visual style, with details and props that tell her story, and then took the camera into her office to photograph her doing the work she loves. Every shot had a purpose and destination, from profile pic to services page. I thought about the crop, size, and space for text. (I’ve spent almost 30 years creating marketing assets, so I can’t help it.)

This is what Branding Sessions are all about: creating images that work just as hard as you do.

Test shot of Wesley | Concert Black, 2026 📷 Last month, Wes helped me set up for the SHS Band & Chorus senior portraits for The Scituate Friends of Music. Tonight’s concert celebrates these incredible seniors… and I already know I’ll be crying. Hard. (p.s. School music programs are everything.)
