You may not think senior photos are that important. And I get it.
Not everyone is someone who prioritizes photos.
Maybe you think, “We have plenty of pictures on our phones.”
Maybe senior photos just aren’t something you feel like you need to spend money on.
I get that too.
But here’s what I think about when I photograph a senior…
These aren’t really photos for today.
They’re for years from now.
For the mom who suddenly realizes how quickly those high school years went.
For the graduate who wants to remember who they were before college, careers, marriage, kids, and everything else life brings.
For the family who wants to look back and remember that exact season—their personality, their smile, their style, the places they loved, and the person they were becoming.
Because someday, this season will be over.
And how awesome will it be to have more than a few phone pictures to remind you of it?
You’ll have these.
The images that take you right back.
The ones that make you say, “Oh my goodness… look how young you were.”
The ones that remind you not just what they looked like, but who they were.
Senior photos might not feel important right now.
But I have a feeling they’ll mean a whole lot more down the road. ❤️
PS. A little bonus I don’t talk too much about- I also take a photo of the parents with the senior at the end of the session 💕
