☀️ Good Morning, Friends

As I read today’s verse, I was reminded that trusting God doesn’t mean we always know the next step.

Sometimes it means simply moving forward in faith, even when we can’t see the whole path ahead.

This week has been full of blessings, new opportunities, and reminders that God’s timing is always perfect.

Whatever you’re facing today, know that you don’t have to carry it alone. Trust Him with your plans, your worries, your dreams, and your future.

“He will direct your paths.” 💙

Every book has a story.

Faith & Joy began with a vision God placed on my heart during a difficult season while sitting beside Emmanuel during a hospital stay.

What started as an idea became pages, prayers, illustrations, and eventually a book.

Tonight I’m sharing a little of that journey and the faith that carried me through it.

I pray Faith & Joy encourages children and families while pointing hearts back to God’s love.

Today we remember, honor, and celebrate freedom.
Juneteenth is a reminder of how far we’ve come, the strength of those who came before us, and the hope we carry forward for future generations.
As we reflect on this day, I’m especially grateful for faith, family, and the blessings God has given us. May we continue to walk in love, extend grace to one another, and teach our children the value of freedom, kindness, and unity.

💙 A first look inside Faith & Joy…

As I flip through these pages, I’m reminded of God’s faithfulness every step of the way.

My prayer is that this book encourages children and families, sparks conversations about faith, and reminds every person who opens it of God’s love, truth, and promises.

What began as a vision God placed in my heart is almost ready to be shared with the world.

🌿 Midday Grace 🌿

Life will test us, but God is faithful through it all.

This week may not have gone exactly as planned. There may have been missed opportunities, unexpected challenges, or moments when you felt tired and discouraged. But God’s grace is still sufficient.

Don’t give up.

Keep trusting.
Keep praying.
Keep showing up.

The same God who carried you this far will carry you through the rest of the week.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

A reminder for today: God is not asking us to be perfect. He’s asking us to trust Him, take the next step, and remain faithful.

Sometimes progress looks big, and sometimes it looks like simply showing up when you don’t feel like it. Either way, every step matters when God is leading the way.

Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep moving forward.

God is working even when you can’t see it. 💛

October 2025.
While sitting in a hospital room with Emmanuel, God began placing visions in my heart.
What many people saw as a difficult season became a season of revelation for me.

During those days, God gave me ideas for books, stories, coloring books, and projects that I never could have imagined on my own.
Faith & Joy was one of those visions.

This book wasn’t born from a business plan or a content calendar. It was born from time spent with God during a season that looked very different than I expected.

Today, as I prepare to share Faith & Joy with the world, I’m reminded that God often plants seeds in places we never would have chosen ourselves.

I’m grateful for His direction, His faithfulness, and the opportunity to simply be a vessel for what He wants to do.

Just another evening at the Wilson’s. 💜
Tonight’s dinner was garlic shrimp with zucchini, squash, and onions. Earlier, I made a batch of banana oatmeal nut muffins. Some recipes turn out amazing, and some become learning experiences. 😂 Either way, everything is made with love.
I’m learning to appreciate these ordinary moments—cooking dinner, trying new recipes, and gathering around the table at the end of the day.
These are the moments that make a house feel like home.
