What should you know about Super 8?
A fun, nostalgic trend that adds a dreamy, home video quality to your wedding film. Simultaneously modern and timeless, Super 8 just hits different but there are some things you should know about this new old medium.
It adds time to your turnaround. Shipping, processing and receiving your film back takes time. This might coincide with our editing timeline and you might not even notice, but it could also add weeks while we wait.
It’s loud. The camera makes a loud clicking sound while filming! Everyone tells us they love that nostalgic sound but it’s something to be aware of and can catch people off guard!
There’s no sound recorded. We’ve been asked this before and No, it’s not a dumb question!! Some Super 8 cameras do record sound but most (and all of ours) do not. This is part of why it’s so important to also have your day captured digitally. Our priority is capturing your memories fully, for you to look back on, see, hear and remember what your day felt like.
We love adding Super 8 to supplement your wedding package.
