What it’s all about. It’s crazy to think that I’ve almost been back in the United States just as long as I lived broad in Scandinavia. And it was like I didn’t miss a beat. I’ve been photographing this sweet family since then. They were so little. How fast the time has flown. It makes me think about my own family. I love getting to see them each year and hear about their interests and hobbies. Did they get to fly to Iceland and Mexico this year to visit their families? The same beach (except for one year). I just adore them and many other families like this and the warm hug it brings me each year.

As family photo season is upon us and potential stormy weather, I just want to send a little reminder that just because it rains, it doesn’t mean we can’t cuddle up and be cute inside🤍 Your favorite place with your favorite people. And if there’s a break in the rain (or not) we can run around outside in the yard, hang out on the front stoop…Just sayin. See you all soon!!☔️

Just a couple more weddings left this season, and I’ve been thinking about how lucky I am to do this work.

To my couples, thank you for trusting me with something so personal. Families and friends, the photographers who’ve worked alongside me, and the vendors who’ve shared their talent and beautiful work with me, you’ve all made this season what it is.

These seasons are moving fast, it’s easy to feel like you lose yourself a bit, but I’ve felt so present through it all. I’m SO there, and feeling incredibly grateful to be so.
