I’m Deisi, pronounced like Daisy. 🌼
Growing up, I was always surrounded by creativity. I remember my dad staying up late painting beautiful pieces, helping me with my school projects, and teaching my brothers and me music. I still remember crying over the guitar because my little fingers couldn’t hold a chord!! BUT eventually, I learned.
Looking back, I think that’s something I’ve carried with me into photography. I’ve learned that maybe you don’t have to know exactly what you’re doing at first. You just have to keep trying, learning, and growing. I’ve watched my mom do that so many times, and her bravery has taught me more than she realizes.
I’ve always loved old places, quiet streets, beautiful landscapes, anything that feels nostalgic, and that holds a story or memory. That’s what drew me to photography in the first place which was the ability to capture not just how something looked, but how it felt.
I want your photos to carry that nostalgic dreamy feeling. The kind that takes you back to a moment and the people you love most.
My parents taught me from a young age to know God, to seek Him, and to trust Him with every part of my life. They taught me that the gifts we have aren’t ours to boast in, but blessings from Him to be used for His glory.
While we’re here on this earth, I want to keep creating and using what He’s given me to glorify His name.
May everything I create point back to the One who gave me it all my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
