Carrizo Plains National Monument

I took the long way back from a trip to central California in order to chase the 2026 wildflower bloom. Carrizo Plain National Monument did not disappoint. The hill were exploding with color from the different flowers.

Visiting the gardens in the springtime during the tulip bloom. A beautiful display of colors that is a photographer's paradise for flower photography that never disappoints

Apache Junction, Arizona

Just returned from a week in Arizona where I got to explore the incredible landscapes despite the high temperatures. I made it a point of visiting areas with the iconic saguaro cactus and was able to do b&w photography that is my current preference just like I did back when I began my journey in photography

Fredericksburg

While on a trip to visit our boys in Texas, we stopped in Fredericksburg for lunch. Walking to the restaurant I saw this building across the street and the photo presented itself. Fortunately, I had my small Fuji X100V and I was able to snap a quick photo. I really love that camera.

McIntosh, New Mexico

This photo of my brother-in-law, the late John Clements, was taken on Clements Road, in Mcintosh, New Mexico, using a Nikon camera with a 55 mm telephoto lens. I believe this truly captures John in a deeply, personal and thoughtful moment. John was a cattleman in Corona, New Mexico.

This was taken back in 1992, in Peralta, NM, an Analog camera, Minolta 700. I was switching careers and went back to school in my Forties. This was my final exam. I truly believe that it captures my Mom essence.

The Analog camera I used was my Minolta 700. I was switching careers and went back to school in my Forties. This was my final exam for the photography class. I truly believe that it captures my Mom essence.

Home Studio

Working at the home studio with my friend/model/makeup artist Nena who I think was born in the wrong era, she is everything about vintage and classic and does it so well! We were going for Hollywood classic cinematic headshots in black and white from the 1930s-1940s using one light source in a soft box with grid to control the light spill. I had this printed in a 13"x19" for my portfolio
