SYNC is a Hollywood-based rental house looking for a Photo/Motion Equipment Rental Agent/Warehouse-Worker/Driver with knowledge and passion for the stills/motion/and production world. Our company is growing and we are looking for a new team player to join us on our epic journey! Please do not apply if you are aiming to be on set as a Photo Assistant/PA. We are looking for an individual to stay in this position and build it into a management role. If you like to wear multiple hats, the opportunities are never-ending!
Employee duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for processing initial rental order quotes
- Accurately and efficiently pull and prep orders from paperwork, in an organized manner
- Work with clients in the checkout and check-in process of equipment at the facility or on location
- Be comfortable driving large vehicles
- Accurately and thoroughly complete all paperwork and update software
- Communicate customer requests, order changes, and/or paperwork specifications to a member of the management team
- Clean and Maintain Vehicles
- Properly assess and complete minor repairs to equipment
- Maintain a clean work area at all times
- Complete all tasks in a safe manner
- Check and test all equipment to ensure proper functioning
- All other duties as assigned

Driver duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Delivery and pick-up of lighting, grip, camera, expendables, production supplies, sub-rentals, purchases, and repairs, to and from vendor locations
- Safely operate lift gates to load, unload, or put away equipment
- Load and unload vehicles and safely strap-off cargo following all proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques
- Read and comprehend roadmaps and smartphone apps
- Follow delivery route instructions to ensure on-time delivery of equipment to the client location
- Immediately report any issues/problems
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
- Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, following all state and DOT regulations at all times
- All other duties as assigned
* Physical Requirements:
- Requirements are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Heavy work: requires ability to continually lift, push, and pull 50 pounds of product individually and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds up to 160 pounds of product in a team lift.
* Required Experience and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, clients, and team members - Normal hours are M-F, 9-5:30. However, we will need someone with the ability to work 24/7 and overtime as necessary
- Possess a valid CA driver's license and excellent driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience
- Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and in alignment with company policies and procedures
* Knowledge:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Highly motivated and able to multi-task
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Knowledge of lighting and grip equipment, entertainment industry production experience or experience in working with FLEX rental computer software a plus!
$18-25 an hour to start - DOE
