My urban nature photography is just the start for my final artwork. I also accept commissions (including portrait, commercial, event photography).

Ranging from realistic to surreal, you will find lots of color, patterns and stories in each final piece. Michael Endicott is a Photographer and Mixed Media Artist from San Francisco, California, USA. As an Urban Nature Impressionist, he explores the interaction between the “experimental environment” constructed by wo/men and the “constraining environment” dictated by nature. Michael pulls his photography into the realm of painting, not by adding color via digital programming, but by "bending" the different wavelengths of light inherent in the original photograph. The effect can substantially alter the viewer's immediate understanding of the subject, while adding layers of dialog between us and nature. His work is eclectic, along diverse themes: Industrial Impressionism, Concrete Is My Canvas, Nature, Urban Nature, Street Photography, My Sketchy Life, The Revolution Will Be Televised and Choose Joyful. His photographs and art are for sale. And he welcomes commercial and private commissions.

ESCAPE THE HEAT and stop into Art Bias for FIRST SUNDAY OPEN STUDIOS. Everyone says my new studio look (Studio 104) now is closer to matching the “fine art” part of . While here check out some hot off the presses art “Return to the Light,” and my latest collaboration with fellow Art Bias Artist, Inna Zatulovsky (Studio 232) “Ever in the making” based on my from Hawaii just after Hurricane Lala.

JOIN ME and my collaborator Inna Zatulovsky as we unveil another joint piece that touches on how we are “EVER IN CREATION” whether working as an artist, as developing as a person or progressing through our daily challenges and routines. The base is my composite of shots taken in Hawaii in the aftermath of Hurricane Lala. The alchemy is in the addition of threads, petals, and newsprint by Inna as we pick and choose from the new materials she finds in her treasure chest. We then move them around driven primarily by composition, but the final moment doesn’t come until the story appears!!

There are at least 15 artists that will have their studios open, special vendors (with great cheese) out front, and a reception for a brand new show in our in house Gallery 114 featuring figurative painter Greta Waterman. And two floors (200+ pieces of art) of a newly curated show was hung this week. WHAT COULD BE MORE FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY?
