The Grand Stairwell. The most desired location by all couples, guests, quinceañeras and everyone else that walks into the City Hall. Hence it’s the most crowded and not a place for easy photos. Sometimes it’s about timing and just being there at the right time. Sometimes it’s about getting to the City Hall at 8-830 am. Like we did in this case. We still were not the only ones but at least we didn’t have to compete with 5 other couples trying to get a clean shot at the Grand Stairwell

One thing I also noticed about my shots of the Grand Stairwell recently is that I favor side shots as they give more depth and even mystery to the background.

To me the best thing about photography is the people I get to meet on the way that are interesting, deep and they inspire me. Not only to create a great image that captures them as human being but inspire with their stories and their lives

Eric had a certain image he wanted to present and gave me some pointers to his website that was a nod to Schindlers list. The mood, lighting and the framing just came together. We spent hour and half in my studio and outside. Here are a few of my favorite images.
