AFTER TWO YEARS OF HEALING, A BOERNE MOM IS SHARING HER STORY β€οΈ
Two years ago today, Boerne resident Abigail Reder made one of the hardest decisions of her life.
On July 31, 2024, while two months pregnant, she left her marriage for her safety. With only what she could carry.
Today, exactly two years later, she has published her first book.
Joy Follows: Seven Paths Back to Yourself is part memoir and part
guided journal, sharing the seven practices that helped Abigail
rebuild her life and rediscover herself.
"I wrote it for the woman I was two years ago, and for every woman who is her right now," she told The Boerne Life.
Alongside writing the book, Abigail also founded Rosie Red Nest, a
Boerne-based motherhood blog inspired by her daughter, Rosemary. In just a few months, it has grown into a community of nearly 2,000 readers.
Whether you've walked a similar path yourself or simply enjoy
supporting local authors, Abigail's story is one of resilience, hope,
and finding joy after life's hardest seasons.
