To say I’m overwhelmed with support on my lil bugs is a massive understatement. Thank you so much to everyone that showed up, I came in 2nd place and my art will be on a pair of Chaco in spring/summer 2027 🎻🐛
To all the new faces - I’m Ginny! Or Virginia. Or Gin. I’m a freelance graphic designer / illustrator living in Utah. I spent most of my childhood into adult life playing in Little Cottonwood Canyon, but I originally grew up on a cattle ranch in central Texas, surrounded by all types of cool bugs and massive trees… and live music.
I graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2024 and have found my niche in poster design, album design, acrylic painting, marketing, and illustration work.
I have so many things I love in this life like my cattle dog Mavis, my best friend since high school Dani, being around my family, camping, art, enjoying my alone time, b**r, and skiing!! I spend my winters in Alta making coffee/serving b**r, and my summers creating, marketing, and selling at art markets in SLC. Got any questions about me? I’m happy to answer just leave a comment 🪩🤩
Fun fact! The bee is based off of my dad, who plays the harmonica and has gotten attacked by a beehive twice this summer while out on his tractor 🐝 him and my mom taught me how much better life is when it’s filled with good music. Whether it be bluegrass, jazz, outlaw country, zydeco, folk - it never mattered as long as it was live and we were dancing.
All in all, thank yall for supporting my passion turned career 🤍 I’m so lucky my art takes up space. I’m so happy all of you exist!
