One year ago we lost a legend. This is what I said then and I don’t have better words today.

“Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea was a great man.

If you know me at all you know that’s genuine. I was a huge wrestling fan as a young man.

Rhodes, not Hogan.

The giant, powerful character wasn’t my kind of wrestler. I liked the everyday guy. The underdog character.

When I started doing work for I found out that Terry rooted for the underdogs too.

Not wrestlers, but the people. The fans and the people that came to meet him, sing in front of him and try to win a Hogans belt.

He knew their names. He knew their lives. He encouraged them to build a relationship with God. He cared about them.

The everyday American was his kind of guy.

I am so thankful that I got to see him dealing with people up close.

He was a role model and not for body slamming or leg dropping people while they’re down.

He was great because he lifted them up.

God bless you brother!”
