The sweetest part of this job is getting a front-row seat to stories like this one.

As I’ve been editing Jack + Jessie’s wedding, I keep finding myself smiling at the quiet moments like the way they look at each other, the way they laugh, and the kind of peace that comes from knowing you’ve found your person.

Some love stories just feel different. Theirs is one that reminds me God has a beautiful way of bringing the right people together in His perfect timing.

When your best friend sends you a Pinterest board full of dreams for her daughter’s first birthday and asks if you’ll help capture the memories, the answer is an easy yes. So you pack up the camera, load your toddler into the car, and make the six-hour drive without a second thought.

Some moments are simply too special to miss.

This one is very vulnerable…

I go through seasons where I really second guess this side of me.

I’m not a full-time photographer, I️ wouldn’t even consider myself a part-time photographer, and sometimes life gets so busy that my camera just sits there… and I wonder if I’m slowly losing that part of myself. Like maybe the passion is fading.

But then I pick it back up.

And I get invited into something as meaningful as a wedding day, surrounded by so much love, emotion, and once-in-a-lifetime moments, and something in me just lights back up. I don’t know if it’s the energy in the air or the weight of what I’m capturing, but it reminds me exactly why I started.

This one meant a lot.

To Isaac & Ilissa: thank you for trusting me with something so big. It’s never lost on me what an honor it is to document a day like this.

Feeling really grateful, really inspired, and honestly excited to keep going 🤍
