What a weekend it's been so far! We had a very small chance of seeing northern lights in Yosemite, forecasts were close and if the storm ended up being just a little stronger than predicted it would happen. So being the spontaneous and slightly crazy girl I am I didn't even go home and pack. I decided that I wanted to take the chance and simply left from work straight to Glacier Point!
Well the storm was stronger than predicted.... but later than predicted too. So I didn't see Lady Aurora that night. I did spend an incredible night alone at Glacier Point in my hammock chair stargazing! I also stepped out from behind the camera for a minute while stargazing! 😍
The next night I went to watch a fireworks display with my mom and a couple of friend and their 2 kids. It was so fun... Lady Aurora really showed up on our way home! The 6 of us pulled over on the side of the road and watched and captured pictures for about an hour, you could even see a faint hue with the naked eye! It wasn't in Yosemite but it was with great friends and family!

Yosemite is like no other place! No matter how many times I get to explore the park it takes my breath away! Which I think is why so many people want to share their love story there! Having your elopement inside the chapel just adds to the magic! If you're thinking of popping the question or saying your "I dos" among the towering granite and giant trees I would love to capture your adventure!

Right after their vows, this sweet couple walked down the aisle of the Yosemite Chapel and rang the bell together — their families cheering, clapping, and filling the room with the kind of joy you feel in your chest.
A moment that echoed louder than the bell itself!
