A documentary I helped out with is airing on PBS this Tuesday Sept 1st at 8p (CST) or anytime you'd like with your PBS membership. I've done a lot of drone footage of the Mississippi but we had some particularly good weather / cloud / wind days for some of these shots.

The last photo I posted was of a concert at The Ledge Amphitheater. Another great spot for music in the City of St. Cloud, MN area is certainly Summertime by George. As well as the music I'm a big fan of the food trucks - easy to find a great meal there.

Fun to see so many good names and bands coming through The Ledge Amphitheater. It has been open about five years now.

For the first time in a while I missed going out to the EAA in Oshkosh, WI this year. The best place in the world to see cool planes.

I've long had my eye on a Husky like this one that I filmed for Wipaire - such versatile aircraft.

Among the other progress at the new hotel in City of Sartell is that the windows are going in. Makes it a bit trickier for me to fly inside the building. :-)

I passed the new Niron Magnetics site while driving there. If anyone knows a contact to potentially do drone work at their site could you drop me a note? Thanks.

I'm happy to be able to announce that another PBS documentary I did the video work for is getting a theater release this summer.

"We are the River: How the Mississippi Shaped Minnesota" directed by Peter Meyers will be debuted at the Luminary Arts Center in Minneapolis on June 18th at 7p. It will be on PBS in the fall.

When flying a drone over Minnesota fields I frequently come across various animals. Easy to spot with the thermal camera.

Two things that often surprise me are 1. How wet many fields are and 2. How many animals live and wander through the water. If it were me I think I'd head to dryer ground, but I suppose if that's where the food is....
