Lines lead your eye through a photograph without a single instruction — stop asking what something is and start asking what the image is about.

Standing at the memorial in Lower Manhattan, camera in hand, the city asked more of me than I could capture — until The Method answered.
Have you ever stood somewhere so visually overwhelming you couldn't decide where to point your camera?

I’m honored to share that my photograph, Only the Desert Remained, was selected for exhibition in The Art of Abandonment at The Chateau Gallery.

The image is part of an ongoing exploration of abandoned places and the stories they leave behind. What first appears to be decay often reveals history, texture, memory, and evidence of lives once lived.

This recognition is especially meaningful because the image was selected through a blind jury process based solely on the photograph itself.

Much of my photography—whether in historic cities, while traveling, or in forgotten places—begins with the same question:

What happens when we pause long enough to notice what others walk past?

I’m grateful to The Chateau Gallery for including the work in this exhibition.
